Acceptance and Understanding of Our Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions set forth in this document are mandatory and binding. They apply to all reservations and activities made through our website, by email, or in person. Use of any of these channels implies acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Modification of Terms of Use
Viru Agency reserves the right to make changes or updates to our terms and conditions at any time. It is the client’s responsibility to review them.
Passenger Obligations Established in Accordance with Viru Agency Policies
– Respond clearly and accurately to responses and requests, as well as to forms completed by the assigned Experience Designer.
– Follow the instructions of the team on the road.
– Comply with all pre-trip briefings; these are essential to begin your travel experience in Peru.
– Comply with all obligations established in these Terms and Conditions.
Policies for In-Person Payment Methods
– Final cash payments will be accepted at no additional charge; credit or debit cards will incur a 10% additional charge. No passenger can begin their tour until payment has been completed.
– Cash payments must be made the day before your tour and can be made during the briefing. We accept US dollars and Peruvian soles for cash payments.
– Torn or ripped bills, no matter how small, will not be accepted.
Cancellation Request
The cancellation request must be made via email by the person who made the reservation and paid the deposit to reservas@viruagency.com
Cancellation Fees (Administrative Expenses)
– Cancellations made 50 days in advance will not incur any additional charges, except for Machu Picchu tour excursions.
– If the client cancels between 10 and 30 days before their trip, they will be required to pay 50% of the total trip cost.
– If the client cancels between 5 and 3 days before their trip, they will be required to pay 80% of the total cost.
– If the client cancels one day or less before their trip, they will be required to pay 100% of the total cost.
– In the rare case that a client decides to withdraw after the trip has begun, no refund will be issued. The client will also be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by their own decision: food, lodging, and transportation.
– If the client is unable to participate in the tour due to illness or physical problems, no refund will be issued.
– In the event that a natural disaster or unforeseen event prevents a service from being provided, the client will receive a 50% refund of their deposit, including administrative costs.
– In consideration of the recent global pandemic, we have added that in the event that the service cannot be provided due to a pandemic or unforeseen event, no refund will be issued, but an open ticket will be issued, retaining your deposit so you can receive the service on another date, subject to availability.
– Failure to attend informational meetings will be considered a no-show.
– Failure to appear on the assigned tour will be considered a no-show.
– No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
